PhD in Chemical Engineering. She has been a researcher in the Biosystems Sustainability Program at IRTA since 2012. Her research focuses on environmental sciences, biotechnology, and chemical engineering. She has extensive experience in developing and demonstrating (bio)processes for the valorization of organic waste at laboratory and pilot scales. She is an expert in anaerobic digestion and fermentative bioreactors, as well as in conducting microbial activity and biodegradability tests (under aerobic or anaerobic conditions).
