El International Congress of Bioenergy is the meeting organized by AVEBIOM on an annual basis with the aim of collecting and disseminating the key and innovative knowledge necessary for professionals in the sector.

Since its first edition in 2006, it has evolved and adapted to the most demanding needs of professionals. Lasting between one and three days, it has usually been described as the annual meeting and meeting place for professionals linked to the development of the sector, sometimes with very different backgrounds, but who share their passion for bioenergy.

Some of the topics that have been focused on are: research, technical applications, the international pellet market, digitalisation of the industry, large consumers, agrobiomass, urban heating networks, development in Latin America, biogas and biomethane, etc.
