He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid, with over 20 years of experience at CARTIF. He has worked in various areas of expertise, participating in over 30 R&D projects—15 of them as project leader—related to the energy use of waste, and more recently, in initiatives on the circular economy and sustainable processes. His expertise focuses on biofuels, energy characterization and recovery, pelletizing, and anaerobic digestion processes. He also has over 30 publications, including scientific articles, contributions to specialized conferences, and publications in industry journals.
